floating point notation
slankiojo kablelio formatas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Skaičiaus vaizdavimo kompiuteryje pavidalas, tinkamas plataus intervalo (labai dideliems ir labai mažiems) ↑realiesiems skaičiams pavaizduoti. Skaičių sudaro du komponentai: dešimtainė trupmena, kuri vadinama skaičiaus mantise (m), ir sveikasis skaičius, vadinamas skaičiaus eile (n) . Šie du komponentai sudaro skaičiaus atvaizdį m·10ⁿ. Pavyzdžiui, skaičių 674,25 galima užrašyti šitaip: 0,67425·10³, t. y. iš tikrųjų jį pavaizduoti dviem skaičiais: m=0,67425 ir n=3. Norint išsaugoti skaičiaus tikslumą, jis ↑normalizuojamas. JAV ir kai kuriose kitose valstybėse skaičiaus trupmeninę dalį nuo sveikosios priimta skirti tašku. Todėl pažodinis vertimas iš anglų kalbos (slankiojo taško skaičius) būtų neteisingas. atitikmenys: angl. exponential notation; floating point notation; scientific format; scientific notation ryšiai: dar žiūrėknormalizavimas dar žiūrėkrealusis skaičius dar žiūrėkslankiojo kablelio skaičių normalizavimas palyginkfiksuotojo kablelio formatas
